These are songs that I've recorded since the start of the year; so, the past couple of weeks. I've been making a lot of music with guitar - I enjoy how expressive it is.

The release of this album represents the beginning of a change in artistic direction. Gone is the music of God King Josiah - now is the era of Josiah Bugmeal. The sound of my music isn't necessarily going to change so drastically, but I do have some different attitudes this time around. Less chaos, more peace. Less irony, more sincerity. Less grandiosity, more mundanity.

I would like this album, as well as more albums moving forward, to serve as an artifact of the period of time in which they were created. This stands in contrast to the anachronistic amalgamations that were stitched together under God King Josiah.
